Join Trisutto coach, Irene Coletto at the Thanyapura Health & Sports Resort.  This three-week camp offers personalised coaching suited to Olympic distance to long course athletes.  Thanyapura’s professional coaches provide individual advice on swimming, biking and running techniques combined with Trisutto’s training methods to help triathletes reach their goals.

Each session focuses on learning through workouts specifically created for the athlete.

“I have been a multisport competitor for over 5 years, starting with running and duathlon before moving to Triathlon. I’m a 70.3 World Championship qualifier and from last year dedicated myself to a full time coaching career, completing the Trisutto Coaching Certification Course and working as co-coach at 3 camps and also holds a coaching qualification from the Italian Triathlon Federation (FITRI) and Nutrition and Sport Integration (AICS – Italian Association for Culture and Sport)

“At the beginning my interest to grow as an athlete was great, however, I soon became interested in the coaching side of the sport also and I began to follow this path. I adapt the Trisutto principles for my athletes, which extend across athletes of all abilities.

“In the next year 2018 I will become a professional triathlete, another dream will come true. I’m based out of Padua, Italy and speaks Italian and English.”

The triathlon training camp provides personal coaching on techniques in swimming, biking and running.  No two camps are the same!  A typical camp includes 18-22 hours of training across all three disciplines.  The camp will cover these training aspects:

  • Training philosophy: Learn principles of periodisation, the training mix, psychology + physiology, athlete development and the use of races within these considerations.
  • Swim training: Techniques for the individual athlete, use of swim tools, stroke correction.
  • Bike training: Positioning, technique for the individual athlete, bicycle and component selection, skills, tools.
  • Run training: Technique for the individual athlete, shoe choice, use of run tools (hills, track, treadmill and road).
  • Triathlon: Integration of swim, bike and run into the one training approach.
  • Stretching: Massage, warm up and warm downs.
