Polina is a professional swimmer since 1996 and brings decades of experience to coaching mothers and babies, children and adults. What sets her aside from other swim coaches is her speciality in coaching physically and mentally impaired clients. Some of her clients include people who suffered from cerebral palsy and autism, as well as amputees. She helped her students overcome their fear of water by creating special programs aimed at removing aquaphobia. Polina works with pregnant mums through aqua exercises that are safe and designed to boost the wellbeing of the woman and the baby.
Polina is originally from Kazakhstan and is a permanent resident of Russia. She speaks Russian and English. Polina completed her studies at the Children and Youth Sports School of Swimming in Petropavlovsk, Kazakhstan (Masters of Sports). She joined the country’s Junior National Team from 2000 – 2002. In 2015, she continued her education at Lesgaft National State University of Physical Education, Sport and Health in St. Petersburg, Russia with an emphasis on Aquatic Rehabilitation. Before moving to Thailand, she taught swimming methods and theory at the Russian State University of Physical Education, Youth and Tourism (SCOLIPE). She also was a member of the national team of the Republic of Kazakhstan for sports swimming, with the title of candidate master of sports in swimming and the champion and prize-winner of Republican competitions.
